The Services Solutions Architect owns and drives the scoping, packaging, and coordination of pre-sales service delivery to ensure solution feasibility, customer satisfaction, and alignment across sales, services, and delivery teams. Acting as a critical bridge between internal stakeholders and the customer, this role guides the service strategy from early discovery through delivery readiness, ensuring that proposed solutions are practical and tailored to client needs. By actively engaging in the pre-sales process, the Services Solutions Architect influences the sales funnel, identifies service-led opportunities, and ensures a seamless transition from proposal to execution, ultimately supporting business growth and long-term customer relationships.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate with Sales and Sales Support teams to define, structure, and position pre-sales service engagements (e.g., factory services, tech field services, MDM support).
  • Engage directly with customers during the pre-sales phase to lead discovery conversations, identify service requirements, and align solutions to customer goals.
  • Drive the creation of scopes of work (SOWs), service delivery plans, and pricing models that reflect customer needs and operational capabilities.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the customer, sales, and delivery teams—ensuring smooth handoffs, realistic commitments, and aligned expectations.
  • Influence and support the sales funnel by identifying service-led opportunities that enhance the overall value proposition.
  • Develop repeatable frameworks, templates, and playbooks to streamline the service scoping and delivery readiness process.
  • Analyze delivery outcomes to continuously refine service scope accuracy, improve margin performance, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Track key engagement metrics (e.g., conversion rates, scope-to-delivery alignment, service margins) and provide actionable insights to leadership.

What you bring to the table:

  • Expertise in bridging sales, Sales Support Teams, and delivery, ensuring customer needs are translated into feasible, profitable, and high-quality service engagements.
  • Ability to drive innovation and standardization by developing frameworks and playbooks that streamline pre-sales and delivery processes.
  • Strategic insight and independent judgment in defining service scopes, pricing, and delivery plans that balance customer satisfaction and business objectives.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, fostering trust, alignment, and seamless collaboration across all phases of the engagement.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, leveraging data and feedback to refine service offerings and delivery outcomes.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, business administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in service solution architecture, technical pre-sales, or service delivery management within the technology sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing scopes of work, delivery plans, and pricing models for complex service engagements.
  • Proven ability to engage directly with customers, lead discovery conversations, and align solutions to business goals.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills in both technical and commercial contexts.

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (Master’s preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, AWS, or other industry-recognized credentials in project management, service management, or cloud technologies.
  • Extensive experience (often 6+ years) in IT project management, solution architecture, or service delivery, ideally in complex or technical environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in process optimization, deployment, and cross-functional project execution, including experience with agile or lean methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for executive and non-technical audiences.
  • Interest in emerging technologies and continuous improvement, with a track record of driving innovation and adapting to changing business needs.
