In this role you will be converting artwork into a stitch file so it can be read by the embroidery machines and interpreted as different stitch types.

Pay Rate:  $20.00/Hourly

Shift Hours:  6:00am-3:15pm/Monday-Thursday and 6:00am-11:00am/Friday

What you’ll be doing:

• Plan and execute embroidery stitching from customer-approved art.  
• Utilize efficient stitch counts and correct color sequences to ensure close representation of customers’ art.  
• Send completed punch to the sample area to run.
• Perform quality inspection of punch from sample area to verify sample and check embroidery before sending to punch to the machines.
• Edit or modify existing punches for placements, thread color changes, or backgrounds per customer request for ID on new products.  
• Perform editing in a timely fashion to meet customer needs.
• Perform punch testing for new fabrics, non-stock products, and placements.  
• Evaluate test products and make recommendations on whether it will work for embroidery.  
• Recommend type of embroidery to use on new fabrics.
• Communicate with Sales and Art to ensure accurate representations of customer art.  
• Send and retrieve punches from Doodle or Affinity.
• Set up work for the laser room.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the table:

• Knowledge of Wilcom software
• Skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions.
• Ability to produce quality stitch files that meet customer art specifications.
• Good written and verbal communication skills

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 6 months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
