The Studio Photographer photographs and provides high-resolution images for online and/or print media, serving both internal and external customers. The Studio Photographer provides expertise using products, props, models, locations, etc. to produce the best possible finished product on time, and on target from a marketing and creative perspective.

What you’ll be doing:

• Possess a deep understanding of all studio equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, software, etc.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of, and an expert ability to implement varying photography techniques through use of styling, lenses, lighting, props, models, and locations.
• Maintain studio equipment and make recommendations for any needed repairs, upgrades and/or additions.
• Collaborate with Art Directors to build and maintain an effective strategy through creative photography, including group photography, styling, props, models, lighting techniques, etc.
• Organize and maintain studio to ensure cleanliness and order.

• Strong Photo studio and equipment expertise, including product styling
• Project management experience
• Strong communication skills

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years Strong Photo studio and equipment expertise, including product styling· Project management experience
• Project management experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, positively and concisely
• Skilled with photography software (Capture One)
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Design and aesthetic skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Presents a driven and self-motivated attitude to ensure excellent organization skills

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

• Higher Secondary or Vocational Education with classes in Photography preferred
