This is a Hybrid position with a THREE day (T-Th) on-site requirement at the Maitland, FL office. 

What you’ll be doing:

The Sales Account Developer - Churn works with significantly declining standard and low touch accounts (<$100K annual revenue) to win back their recently lost business. Account Developers engage customers remotely by phone, video, and digital communication to win-back and retain sales as well as facilitating introductions to our category experts for more complex business needs. This role is part of a team and does not have assigned accounts It is a high velocity sales position that leverages a prioritized customer insights tool to engage and sell to contacts across the entire standard and low touch customer segment.

  • Engage customers who have significantly declined through phone, video, and/or digital correspondence to drive customer win-back/retention 
  • Strategically analyze reason for declines to target the correct contacts and categories.
  • Meet weekly and monthly win back targets and KPIs set by sales leadership. 
  • Consistently meet activity goals and daily metrics - outbound dials, sell time, and live contacts 
  • Provide excellent service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. 
  • Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions, track sales activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Manages funnel & pipeline to closed stages 
  • Leverage partnerships with various internal partners to drive growth and ensure customer satisfaction. This includes, but is not limited to Category Sales Specialists and Customer Service Teams 
  • Use Professional Selling Skills (PSS) to identify customer needs and develop a value-added proposition, proposal & pricing. 
  • Oversees pricing negotiations and influences on the spot pricing decisions in order to cultivate a seamless customer experience. 
  • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and customer relationship management abilities. 
  • Will manage through and support the customer experience issues with our internal teams. 
  • This role must understand all of Staples different contract types and account setups to effectively sell to customers.

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed incremental sales and gross profit goals - growing sales and margin within current customer base 

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales, customer service, or a sales support position
  • Proficient with MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
