What you’ll be doing:

  • Drive QA efforts for OMS applications, tools, and/or software to ensure compliance with organizational standards and requirements. 
  • Create and execute test plans on pre-release, upgrades and current versions of software to ensure applications meet user needs. 
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand requirements to design, develop and maintain comprehensive test plans.
  • Develop test strategies and approaches for both manual and automation testing.
  • Responsible for setting up Selenium test environments such as Selenium Web Driver, Maven Integration, TestNG, Java and Jenkins integration.
  • Responsible for implementing automation using JAVA, Selenium Web driver, Selenium grib, Maven.
  • Monitor testing progress, provide status updates, and escalate issues to management, test lead and other project participants regarding testing efforts.
  • Evaluate compatibility of programs with existing software applications.
  • Test and evaluate in-house and third-party software to ensure compliance with organizational standards and requirements.
  • Collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrate them into business processes to address the needs of the business.
  • Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status.
  • Document all problems and assists in their resolution.
  • Know your domain as a subject matter expert to successfully support E2E regression testing.
  • Provide mentoring to junior associates and may act as a QA lead.
  • Handle moderately complex issues and problems, and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff.

What you bring to the table:

  • Experience in QA and Testing of mid-to-large scale projects, manual and automated.
  • Hands-on experience in Java, Selenium, TestNG within Object Model automation framework to successfully create and modify existing automation Java framework.
  • Hands-on experience in integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficient with HTML, XML and Java.
  • Hands-on experience with micro-services. 
  • Experience working in projects utilizing Agile methodology.
  • Knowledge of Rest API web services. 
  • Knowledge of SQL query.
  • Familiar with web design and Perl.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience:
    • Creating and maintaining test plans, test data, and test automation.
    • Driving testing through all phases of the development lifecycle.
    • Supporting E2E regression testing.
  • 3+ years of experience:
    • Developing, maintaining, and executing Java/Selenium test automation scripts using TestNG Local, Selenium Grid, and Cloud-based execution.
    • Implementing Java, Selenium, TestNG, and Object Model automation frameworks.
    • Extending existing automation suites using Selenium, Java, or equivalent framework.

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field or 
  • Familiar in C, C++; UNIX and/or NT systems.
