At Staples, “inclusion” is a verb. It’s what we do to ensure associates feel valued and can contribute to their fullest. We connect on the things we have in common and celebrate our differences by working with respect and fairness towards each other.
We never shy away from issues that are important to our associates. That’s why we welcome challenges that inspire us to think carefully about our approach to inclusion and diversity, from honest conversations about race to tackling the gender pay gap.
When we operate inclusively, diversity naturally follows. That’s why we work hard to increase underrepresented groups in our dynamic workforce, and seek associates with unique input and individual perspectives. The result isn’t just a better workplace. It’s also the innovative thinking that helps us exceed customers’ expectations and achieve our business goals.
Staples Business Resource Groups
Business Resource Groups are established to provide a mutually beneficial relationship for associates and Staples. BRG members work together on a voluntary basis with the purpose of supporting associates, creating networking opportunities, aligning with Staples I&D strategy and improving business in the marketplace. BRGs serve as internal resources to support associate engagement and additional business activities such as recruitment/talent acquisition, leadership development, product development, marketing, corporate branding and community relations. BRGs provide a sense of community within the workplace, offer a forum for members to discuss relevant challenges and opportunities, and enable joint efforts on common areas of interests.

What our employees are saying
“Staples is a great place to work, and one of the reasons is that our company adopted Inclusion & Diversity best practices early on. Employees are enabled to bring their whole selves to work and have safe spaces in which to communicate authentically, work together across the organization and have the full support of our Senior Leadership Team. This in turn leads to better outcomes for the communities and customers we serve. Join us!”ChantalDirector of Inclusion & Diversity
“Inclusion is important here. Every associate brings something unique to the table and it’s crucial that they have the ability and the autonomy to be able to do what they do best.”
