The Technology Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for managing the technology process from receipt of lead to close while increasing overall profitably and net sales attainment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Respond to all high volume leads and attempt to convert them to sales. Make pricing decisions utilizing margin guidelines and pricing matrix
  • Increase technology sales quote attainment through focused efforts on new business development via outbound phone contacts
  • Maintain accurate records of all key Technology customer account activities and use information for ongoing reference   
  • Maintain and thorough and up-to-date knowledge of products, designs and trends within the industry in order to remain competitive in the marketplace.
  • Attend vendor training sessions and local trade shows as necessary. Utilize current knowledge to improve processes and increase sales
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with Technology prospects and customers by solely assisting them through the entire course of the purchase process including: product selection, processing orders and providing various solutions.
  • Continually monitor customer accounts by initiating calls to customers to secure future business and ensure timely pricing quotes.
  • Document and provide customer feedback to management team
  • Support Quill Sales Development and customers in order to convert sales by using the sales strategy, leading to overall achievement of company goals 

What you bring to the table:

  • Knowledge of Printing, Computing, Office Machines, Networking, and Commercial Technology needs
  • Strong communication skills, both orally and written
  • Strong computer skills (database, spreadsheets, word processing, CRM)
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical and financial aptitude skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Good decision making skills
  • Strong understanding of margins and cost of goods


What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ Years of Technology Sales Experience
  • Knowledge of Printing, Computing, Office Machines, Networking, and Commercial Technology needs
