What you’ll be doing: 

Manages customer relationships for assigned account portfolio. Responsible for account retention and collaborate with Sales Representative and/or customers directly by providing promotional product/event solutions. Researches and recommends promotional products and services, solicits quotes, negotiates with vendors, and executes orders.

  • Prepare quotes and process orders through our order entry system. 
  • Work with vendors to negotiate pricing, process purchase orders, obtain proofs and follow order through to completion
  • Works with internal and external resources to keep orders moving forward and finalizing with the billing team as order meets completion. 
  • Ensures client expectations and event dates/in hand dates are met.
  • Works with the sales team to manage the relationship with primary client contacts, working together to execute client needs while maintaining margins to reach Staples goals.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point)

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous promotional products merchandising or purchasing skills, preferred.
  • Industry experience with ESP or SAGE is preferred.
