QA Analyst Marketing Operations

What you’ll be doing:

  • Champion our QA processes to ensure high campaign production standards, define test procedures, and modify to meet evolving needs.
  • End-to-end QA of email and push notification campaigns including copy, links, and rendering across devices and customer types.
  • Ensure customer list criteria is correct and enforce segmentation best practices.
  • Triage any issues and find quick resolutions to the issues where the root cause may be an email, push, web form, or customer segment built by the marketing operations team.
  • Maintain an accurate and current QA checklist for marketing operations team members and business partners.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot email templates to ensure proper rendering of static and dynamic content.
  • Track and submit bugs for resolution and identify areas of opportunity that require solutions to prevent recurring issues.
  • Manage daily/weekly progress reporting and defect resolution tracking.
  • Report on the overall QA process, findings, and insights to understand trends.
  • Drive efficiencies in campaign execution through QA process and improvements.
  • Candidate should have experience with tools like: CMS, Litmus, Postmark, Email on Acid, etc.

  • Expertise in managing and prioritizing multiple projects with attention to detail. 
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
  • Technical proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Desire to improve processes. 

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing or production.
  • 2+ years of experience driving QA best practices and execution.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, Technology, or a related field. 
  • Proficient in MS Office. 

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with the process of executing emails within Marketo, Optimove or similar Email Marketing tools.
