What you’ll be doing:

  • Metric Management: Oversee and manage all key operational metrics related to Amazon, ensuring compliance with Amazon’s performance standards (e.g., on-time shipping, order accuracy, and inventory levels).
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce errors, and increase productivity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including supply chain, logistics, and customer service, to ensure all operational processes align with Amazon’s requirements and meet company objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Amazon operations, providing actionable insights and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for any operational issues related to 
  • Amazon, ensuring prompt resolution and effective communication across teams.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with all Amazon operational policies and guidelines, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of any changes in Amazon’s requirements.
  • Lead and manage a small team of operational staff, ensuring clear communication of expectations, regular performance reviews, and opportunities for development.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, encouraging team members to meet or exceed operational goals.

What you bring to the table:

  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team of operational staff.
  • Analytical Thinking: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions to improve performance.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate operational strategies and collaborate across departments.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and quickly adapt to changing operational requirements.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Operations Management, or a related field is required OR equivalent work experience (7yrs)
  • 7+ years of experience in operations management, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of management experience, overseeing a team or managing complex operational processes.

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing operational processes related to Amazon or other major e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of key operational metrics required by Amazon, such as on-time shipping, order accuracy, and inventory management.
  • Experience using data and analytics to monitor and improve operational performance.
  • Experience in managing relationships with Amazon or other large e-commerce partners.
  • Proficiency in using operational management tools and software to track and optimize performance metrics.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes, particularly as they relate to e-commerce operations.
  • Comfortable with new technologies and programs. Ideal candidate will have experience with Rithum (formerly Channel Advisor) or similar Multi-Channel E-Commerce Solutions.
  • Experience with premium programs such as Seller Fulfilled Prime is idea
