Our marketing team is charged with an important task – sharing our Staples story. We use customer data and analytics to help us understand and improve our customers’ experiences, drive customer retention, and encourage brand loyalty. Our team is diverse, with skillsets and responsibilities ranging from graphic design, content creation and performance marketing to loyalty & rewards programs. We work together to provide expertise and guidance, so that the Staples brand is well represented in all areas.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Design measurement plans for brand effectiveness analysis, including matched market tests.
  • Develop and refine methodologies for assessing brand impact (direct and indirect) and return on investment, providing a clear picture of campaign effectiveness.
  • Develop methods for measuring both traditional brand KPI’s like awareness and consideration as well as direct customer behavioral impact like acquisition, sales, and retention.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of brand marketing campaigns, including print, video, and digital media.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Brand Marketing, Customer Research, Analytics, and media partners to optimize strategies and maximize impact.
  • Collaborate with our Customer Research team on the design and analysis of surveys and other instruments to measure Brand Marketing impacts.
  • Synthesize data into coherent and concise reports, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.

What you bring to the table:

  • Proven experience in brand marketing analysis, particularly within a B2B context.
  • Experience using survey and statistical analysis in a marketing setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of crafting and presenting clear, persuasive reports and insights.
  • Prior experience with upper funnel marketing channel measurement and analytics, especially in areas like print media and industry-specific digital platforms
  • A keen understanding of current trends in brand marketing and B2B advertising.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with multimedia brand measurement and ROI analysis.
  • Experience with digital advertising platforms including Google (AdWords, Display Network, Analytics) and Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis/reporting tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Proficiency in SQL and one or more languages used for data analysis (e.g. Python, R, SAS).

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or equivalent work experience
