Job Summary:

The Implementation Project Manager will be responsible for successful coordination of all aspects of implementing a new MPS customer. This will include: supply chain logistics, order fulfillment, device installs/removals, identification of devices, installation of fleet management and output management software, customer communication, training, invoicing setup, and change management.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the implementation and deployment of a new Managed Print Services Customer. These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Facilitate all internal and external implementation communication meetings with appropriate internal resources and customer contacts
  • Effectively plans and coordinates internal resources to meet customer expectations
  • Coordinating installation and setup of device management tools
  • Coordinating setup of internal management systems to insure seamless transition from implementation to on-going account management:
  • Billing and invoicing requirements (Cost Centers, PO’s, etc.)
  • Verification/validation of account data (pricing, locations, contacts, device lists, supplies, etc.)
  • Service ticket support
  • Toner fulfillment systems
  • Inventory planning
  • Asset identification
  • Facilitates new hardware orders as needed and coordinates delivery, setup, training
  • Coordinates removal of any existing hardware, as needed
  • Coordinates and executes with vendor service partners during entire implementation including definition of scope, statement of work generation and sign-off
  • Coordinates development of customer change management plans and effectively communicates the following:
  • Overall Executive and End user level communication plansTraining plans
  • End user support process
  • Escalation process
  • Deployment scheduling
  • Effectively transitions fully implemented account to designated Account Manager and Operations Support staff

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years relevant experience (Project Management/Coordination)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented, self-starter with outstanding follow up and organizational skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 6+ years relevant experience (Master’s Degree a plus)
  • Working experience with Microsoft Visio, and Project
  • Exceptional skills with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • PMI Certifications a plus
  • Prior operational knowledge in the following areas:
  • Print output devices from multiple manufacturers (printers, copiers, MFP’s, scanners, etc.)
  • Quoting, assessment, and fleet management software tools (FM Audit, Asset DB, PrintFleet, eAutomate, etc.)
  • Supply Chain Logistics
  • strong Leadership and Project Management skills
