Position Summary:

 

The HP Navigator will collaborate in a joint sales motion with our Print Hardware Team located in Deerfield Beach in effort to drive and penetrate technology sales into our current customer base in addition to working with our new business acquisition team when applicable. We will support and sell HP technology transactional printing products and services which includes work group and desktop printer devices. along with procuring leads for IT services and MPS (managed print services) opportunities.

 

 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Identify and close technology sales opportunities within existing inside sales accounts and identified new business accounts using consultative, value-based selling strategies to grow and penetrate technology business
  • Provide ongoing training to the inside print hardware team on how to identify qualify technology opportunities
  • Ensure that the PHAC’s feel comfortable and confident discussing and broaching the subject of low tech commodity items

  • Work closely with internal partners and groups to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty throughout the ordering process

 

 

 



 

 

 


Qualifications

 

 

Basic:

 

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 5+ years' experience selling desktop technology (including computing devices) and peripherals to customers at the administrative, management, and senior management level

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Strong organizational, prioritization, time management, and communication (written & verbal) skills

 

 

 

Preferred:

 

  • 2 years' HP sales experience

  • Ability to develop winning proposals, collect and analyze data, support and conduct client business reviews that lead to customer retention and profitable sales growth

  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com and AS400

  • Resourceful and able to work independently

  • Ability to sell company values and services, in addition to program features and benefits via phone and internet 

  • Ability to sell multiple buyer levels within small to mid-sized customers 

  • Adaptable to a fast-paced organization that changes to continuously improve the customer experience
