Position Summary:

As an Inside Print & Promo Specialist - you will be part of a new innovative team that will accelerate category growth for print & promotional productions. We are looking for energetic, high output, sales people to join a fast-paced, growing business to handle outbound and/or inbound sales activities. Candidates must have above average telephone prospecting skills, be tech savvy and familiar with internet software. You will be responsible for proactively reaching out to existing Staples Advantage customers to generate interest in this underpenetrated category.  You will work closely with Business to Business Sales reps within Staples organization to make a strong introduction to our category offering and increase the number of customers buying print & promotional products from Staples.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Meet/exceed outbound dials and closing sales quotas

• Demonstrable ability to get past the gatekeeper and to the appropriate contacts with current Staples customers

• Engaging with prospects via telephone and email to analyze their needs

• Relentless in asking probing questions to profile prospects

• Overcoming objections to close quality sales opportunities and conversions of inbound calls

• Conducting business dealings in a professional and proactive manner

• Being a trusted advisor for internal and external contacts

• Schedule and conduct over the phone pricing presentations and account reviews with high level decision makers

• Execute consultative selling skills to identify customer needs and develop a value added proposition supported by Staples offering

• Represent the best of Staples Inside Print & Marketing Services in promoting products, services, and commitment to customer satisfaction, support a smooth introduction to an account manager

• Implement Staples sales strategy so that the company meets revenue and profit objectives through

• Be fast & flexible in a fast paced evolving environment

• Utilize Staples CRM system on a consistent daily basis to self-manage selling activity, contacts, deals, strategies, reporting, and communications

• Proficient use of software inclusive of Salesforce.Com, MS Word ,Excel, and Outlook to communicate quotes and related communication on a daily basis



Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Professional and effective telephone communication skills

• Self-starter and results oriented

• Previous business to business experience in a selling environment

• Proven ability to sell as part of a team

• Strong written communication skills

• Comfortable with financial sales tracking and analysis

• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field

• Exceptional phone & e-mail communication skills

• Experience with Salesforce.com
