Position Summary: 

This role supports the coordination and development of training content designed to provide associates with the necessary skills and knowledge they need to be successful in their jobs. Thi sis a telecommute opportunity. With minimal supervision and support from the Senior Manager, L&D, this individual will design and develop virtual reality(vr), video and/or multimedia learning deliverables.  Additionally, he/she must partner with Instructional Designers, Facilitators/Coaches and Learning Advisors from diverse business units to develop and deliver curricula that meets or exceeds established standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop vr based content
  • Edit both monoscopic and stereoscopic VR videos
  • Incorporate graphics and 2D video into VR environments
  • Revise VR videos per client feedback
  • Identify optical issues in VR footage and coordinate with post-production team to correct
  • Knowledge/understanding of effective storytelling in the VR space
  • Convert existing training content to vr, video and/or multimedia formats
  • Familiar with multimedia content project cycles
  • Develop and create content using rapid development models and prototyping methods
  • Design, develop, test, debug and deliver learning solutions to a variety of platforms including mobile devices
  • Partner with Learning Advisors to understand and meet design/ interaction expectations for each business unit
  • Effectively manage projects from start to finish including keeping project managers and partners updated on the state of the project
  • Assist in the process of training design or serving on development project teams comprised of internal and/or external team members
  • Assist in the overall administration of the learning function including measuring program effectiveness, consulting with business partners and collecting learner needs, and participating on teams to drive continuous improvement
  • Administer critical logistical elements of programs including making timely communications to all stakeholders on projects 


  • Bachelor Degree
  • Experience with virtual reality development tools, mobile based platforms, Mac and PC hardware
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere and/or post-production software including Creative Cloud Apps such as Premiere Pro & After Effects - experience with AVP, Nuke and other VR stitching software a plus
  • Minimum 2 years producing vr, video and/or multimedia content
  • Solid experience with mobile application and content development including HTML5, JavaScript (jQuery), website development
  • Solid experience with responsive design and native application deliverables for multiple platforms including Apple, Droid, Google etc
  • Multimedia and user interface / user experience (UI/UX) design experience
  • Familiar with audio/video techniques, equipment and practices
  • Ability to produce high quality voice audio recordings
  • Comprehension of graphic design and/or photography principles
  • Produces high quality work within short project cycles
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under aggressive timelines
  • Experience with LMS/CMS platforms including Cornerstone, Office 365 and SharePoint
  • Excellent communication skills- verbal and written
  • Detail oriented
  • Creative and eager to test innovative solutions
  • Experience in curriculum development
  • Familiar and comfortable with social learning platforms and how methods can be integrated into training programs
