Position Summary

 

The Customer Analytics Manager is responsible for the analysis and planning of channels to acquire and develop our customers as well as overall analytics on our customer file performance.  This includes responsibility for the development of KPI’s, budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.  The customer analytics manager also supports our inside sales teams, measuring the performance of those teams and their customers.  This manager critically evaluates the complete financial performance of the areas the team supports including long-term value projections of customer acquisition efforts.                                                                                                                      

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a team of four associates, including setting goals and performance criteria, determining training requirements, and managing activities
  • Evaluate the performance of our customer acquisition channels providing insights and recommendations
  • Provide reporting and analytics to our inside sales team making recommendations to improve performance with our most valuable customers
  • Analyze and report on the performance of our membership programs including the effectiveness of the enrollment channels into those programs
  • Partner with the customer sales and marketing teams in the development of annual and long-range plans
  • Perform ad-hoc analytics to support plans and initiatives
  • Manage the monthly forecasting for the teams supported including projections on KPI’s for the customer file
  • Publish actionable weekly and monthly reporting and analysis, including presenting to Quill leadership
  • Identify opportunities to standardize processes and reporting activities


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline
  • 7+ years’ experience (5 years with MBA) in analytical type position
  • 2+ years’ experience managing multiple direct reports
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA
  • Working knowledge of sales and marketing analytics
  • Financial planning experience related to forecasting or budgeting
  • Strong communication, influencing, strategic thinking, and analytical skills
  • Committed, driven, team player attitude
