This position will be
responsible for the strategy and sourcing for Quill.com’s Gift with Purchase
program. Annualized purchase commitment
responsibility is currently estimated to range from $15M-$20M/annually, with
the associated sales from this strategy at $400M. The
primary goal of this position is to ensure Quill.com GWP strategy remains highly
differentiated from the competition, drives the optimal performance of customer
behaviors as determined by Merchandising and Marketing’s go-to-market
strategies, and optimizes our GWP discount spend through impactful

will partner with various areas of the organization to collect customer
intelligence via multiple channels (Marketing, sales teams, vendor insights, surveys, focus groups) to optimize unique product
recommendations and conversions to intended program strategies. The ability to proactively seek out new and
emerging trends, validate through customer feedback, and source appropriate
vendors to bring to market is critical.
Finally, this role will be required
to build and nurture relationships with key strategic vendor partners to
support various program development as well as optimize individual program profitability
through effective negotiations.

develop and nurture vendor relationships and act as a liaison between the
vendor and internal departments. Also, work with the vendors and Staples
teams to develop and communicate agreed upon sustainability metrics both
internally and to our customers.
- Independently set up skus, compile details and submit to
Sku Management for new item set up.
- Work with Marketing, Merchandising, and Inventory
Management to work through best solution to typical challenges that may arise
including product recalls, customer quality issues, and substituting items when
we exceed inventory.
- Own the Free Gifts landing page strategy:
- Improve offer presentation,
measurement and analysis of performance, optimization, expansion on what’s
included, and partnership with the category
- Give guidance to web specialist support to
program weekly/monthly offers on the page, coordinate banner ad placements, and
perform a mini site check every Monday
