Description

This Inside Account Manager (IAM) position is responsible for developing relationships and penetrating sales through all lines of business within their assigned book of existing accounts. The IAM is the primary contact with the goal of building relationships and growing sales within an existing customer base.

 

The IAM will partner with the LOB specialist to determine strategies to put in place to drive sales growth and margin enhancements. The IAM will be responsible for contacting customers via phone and email to achieve their sales goals. IAMS also develop new business by reactivating accounts and increasing compliance within their existing book of business.

 

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages day-to-day relationship with customer by developing a high value-add relationship with key contact/buyer and recording on Salesforce.com.

  • Identifies short-term and long-term sales retention and penetration opportunities.
  • Coordinates account servicing and fulfillment with support from Customer Service.
  • Increase market share within portfolio of accounts through penetration of Line of Business and reactivating inactive accounts.

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years of selling experience penetrating or maintaining accounts

  • Demonstrated excellence in providing superior customer service, communication, negotiation, interpersonal and problem solving skills.

  • Superior time management and organizational skills

  • Strong computer literacy (experience with Salesforce.com)

  • Detail oriented with strong administrative follow-up and follow through

  • Post-secondary education in business related discipline – Diploma or Degree preferred
