Position Summary

The Sr. Project Manager, Ship & Pack programs, is responsible for driving the successful delivery of a portfolio of initiatives through proactive, disciplined program and project management.  The Sr. Project Manager will leverage a combination of strong organizational, relationship, and communication skills, the ability to design and execute processes, and a proven track record of influence without authority, as well as collaboration with cross-functional and cross-channel teams.  The position’s primary business goals are as follows:


  • Enable initiative speed to market by making certain of ready execution on arrival. 
  • Engage leadership in Ship & Pack initiatives. 
  • Project manage initiatives within the Ship & Pack team.
  • Spearhead collaboration with field leaders to gain support for any/all initiatives and to insure field selling team is on the same page as home office team. 
  • Provide strong leadership, project planning and management to one or more visible, complex projects, driving team execution and ensuring expected results. 
  • Build and manage project plans that outline business requirements, dependencies, role and responsibilities, timelines, milestones, and success criteria.


Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead planning and/or implementation of medium to large scale complex projects.
  • Facilitate the development of project scope, goals, tasks and resource requirements.
  • Follow a defined, agreed upon project management methodology.
  • Collaborate with other functional areas to drive projects forward.
  • Provide functional expertise to assess potential financial and operational impact.
  • Manage and monitor project schedules and costs to ensure that expected results are delivered on time and within budget. 
  • Maintain, adjust and update project plans.  Consolidate, communicate and ensure resolution of all issues. 
  • Represent the team at meetings and events, communicating strategy and priorities to senior level partners.
  • Build relationships across the organization at peer and director level to influence outcomes and to facilitate product implementations.
  • Develop strategy and get new offerings into the field by developing an operational plan that encompasses a go to market plan and the launch.
  • Identify and apply best practices to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of project management (from beginning to end).
  • Escalate obstacles in a timely manner.
  • Present oral and written reports defining plans, problems and resolutions to appropriate levels of management.
  • Lead a project team.
  • Serve as a team leader and mentor to other project team members.



  • Bachelors’ Degree in related discipline and/or minimum of 5-8 years related experience. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and written.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to define objectives, scope, and resources for projects.
  • Understanding of business unit, department or functional area’s goals and practices.
  • Ability to establish collaborative and trusting relationships.
  • Ability to bring projects to completion.
  • Ability to lead and mentor team members..
  • Ability to establish cross functional collaborative relationships with business partners.



  • Knowledge in subject matter preferred
