This role resides on a team focused on pricing technology and innovation. The current team makeup is a mix of members with experience in technology, project/product management, Tableau and data analytics.

As a Senior Product Manager in the SBA Pricing team you will lead a team responsible for the planning, managing and executing on a product strategy and roadmap for a next generation pricing platform and related products.   A successful candidate will have a background in product management and a strong track record of developing technology products, partnering with stakeholders and delivering results.
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain roadmap and strategic plans for pricing platform(s)
  • Lead, partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive execution of pricing platform strategy
  • Managing the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution
  • Driving prioritization of all requests by being knowledgeable about the systems and business
  • Make intelligent tradeoffs between enhancements, their investment, and their priorities
  • Driving and improving our product design and development process
  • Improvement of pricing/sales experience through new and innovative solutions and capabilities
  • Interacting with customers to identify needs, opportunities, and gaps, and solve problems
  • Regularly, impactful communication of progress and impact
  • Acting as a highly visible champion for the product
  • Informing future platform decisions and priorities to Pricing and Senior Leaders
  • Working with key stakeholders (up to and including senior executives) in the company to support pricing and sales, as appropriate
  • Establishing goals, reviewing metrics, and changing course to improve success
  • Building a highly performing team that’s innovative and accountable for results, including:
  • Oversee and assign responsibilities, performance and development of team
  • Conduct performance appraisals for direct reports; coach/develop direct  and indirect reports
  • Own and develop team organization structure, employing crucial conversations, as well as recognizing and rewarding success

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 8-10 years previous work experience required (4-6 years’ related experience in product management with track record of innovation and driving change in a large organization highly preferred)
  • A general manager / entrepreneurial mentality; willingness to roll up the sleeves and do whatever is necessary to meet team goals
  • Keen analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases, attention to detail
  • Demonstrated track record of strong execution and experience partnering with technical teams to deliver results
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate to the senior executive levels
  • Ownership and launch of at least one major software product or geographic region
  • Prepared ROI and business case for at least one major business initiative
  • Proven track record driving innovation on behalf of customers
  • Understanding and practice with product management methodologies, especially those that support agile software development environments
  • Strong strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to break down complex problems and formulate plans
  • Proven ability to collaborate broadly with flexible, positive attitude and ability to get results with a cross-functional team
  • Ability to mentor more junior Product Managers
